DC revealed the six remaining issues of The Sandman spin-off won’t be released individually, and instead be collected into a single, large edition. Issues #19-24 will come in a graphic novel format, but the story by writer Dan Watters and artist Sebastian Fiumara has not been changed by that. No release date has been given, but the collected edition of the issues before it, Lucifer Vol. 3: The Wild Hunt, which contains issues #14-19, is coming in July.
This isn’t the first comic DC has skipped directly to the collected edition recently. Due to the covid-19 crisis, Supergirl and The Terrifics among others have been released only as digital versions.
Lucifer Samael Morningstar debuted in second volume of The Sandman in 1989. He has appeared as a supporting character in other comics such as The Demon and The Specter, and has also had his own television series simply named Lucifer.
