Pocky & Rocky Reshrined is the sequel to the SNES classic Pocky & Rocky, which in turn is the sequel to the arcade game KiKi KaiKai, released way back in 1986. The games play with an overhead perspective, with multi-directional free scrolling and shooting action. The SNES game has 2 player co-op gameplay, which is also featured in the new entry in the series, along with modern, high quality pixel art and tons of power-ups.

Pocky & Rocky has a cute Japanese setting, featuring themes based on mythology. The story is about the girl Pocky and the racoon Rocky, who once again need to join forces to help the Nopino Goblins.

The game will be released for the Switch and PlayStation 4 this fall.
