Most of us know She-Ra as the female counterpart of the He-Man cartoon and action figures, but new generations may know her from the Netflix animated series that begun streaming in 2018. Well, she will come back once again, but now with her own live-action film.

Variety has reported that Amazon Studios has begun pre-production of the movie, but it’s still in its early stages of development, so no more information is known at the moment.

She-Ra is He-Man’s twin sister. Her real name is Adora and was kidnapped and taken to another kingdom when she was a baby, so she never knew her brother Adam until she was older. She was absent from having her own television show for many decades until Dreamworks and Netflix joined forces to bring her back in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power in 2018.

But this new movie will have nothing to do with previous iterations of the character. Amazon Studios will produce it and everything will probably be new. Will be waiting for further information about this project.
