16-bit classic Zombies Ate My Neighbours gets a Doom II mod

The comically horror-themed topdown run ‘n’ gun, released on SNES and Mega Drive/Genesis in 1993, has thanks to a fan transitioned into 3D. Using original graphics of the game, the look of the Doom II-mod works surprisingly well. Since Doom II uses sprites for enemies, like many 3D games of the era, the original assets fit like a hand in a glove too. Music of both versions can be selected and many weapons and items are functional. Here you can find the demo.
