These are the finalists for 2021’s National Toy Hall of Fame

Every year, The Strong Museum in Rochester, NY, induces three toys to their National Toy Hall of Fame. And just as it happens every time, fans get to vote for their favorites from a list of 12 finalists.

For its 2021 edition, they have included toys, board games, and even a piñata as part of the nominees. The three winners will be announced until November 4. According to the VP of Collections in The Strong Museum, these toys were chosen because of their impact and influence in the world of play, and they can be enjoyed by people of all ages. The full list of finalists are:

  • American Girl Dolls
  • Battleship
  • Billiards
  • Cabbage Patch Kids
  • Fisher-Price Corn Popper
  • Mahjong
  • Masters of the Universe action figures (He-Man)
  • Piñata
  • Risk
  • Sand
  • The Settlers of Catan
  • Toy Fire Engine

It’s actually really hard to choose only three of them. I bet we all have good memories with at least half of them. Which ones would you pick?
