The classic game The Humans is finally available on modern consoles. Originally released back in 1992 for the Amiga and later ported to other platforms during the nineties, The Humans is a puzzle-platform game that was very well received and praised by game critics back in the day. You can now play it on consoles like Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
The Humans was a game originally conceived and designed by Rodney Humble, and developed by British studio Imagitec Design. It was published in 1992 by Mirage Technologies and it spawned two more games, completing a trilogy that is now available in a single digital package on modern consoles.
The games take place in a prehistoric era where you need to help and guide a tribe of…well…humans to cooperate with each other using different abilities and tools so they can reach and complete different objectives throughout the levels. But of course, things are not as easy as they sound, because there are dinosaurs, traps, and more objects that you’ll have to overcome to complete the levels. And if that wasn’t enough, you also have a time limit that will make you think fast.
This new edition that is brought to you by PIKO Interactive in association with publishers QUByte Interactive, comes with three games and modern quality of life functions like a save system, filter selection, and new interface. Those three The Humans games included are the PC version, the Game Boy version, and the original Mega Drive/Genesis version.
