There’s no doubt that Tetris is one of the best puzzle games ever made. Most of us discovered the game on our old Game Boys, but the different iterations have come out on practically every platform on the market. And with modern versions such as Tetris 99 and Tetris Effect on modern platforms, we can assure you that the game will still be popular for years to come. And now, a new tabletop game based on Tetris is available for purchase.

There have been other Tetris board games in the past. This new one is made by Buffalo Games & Puzzles, a company with 30+ years of experience making games, puzzles, and toys. You can check their web page here.

This new iteration is a multiplayer game where up to four players try to add up the highest score possible completing lines. Each player gets its own tower, and they can rotate the pieces by hand just like in the video game so that the pieces fit perfectly. You can also score points by fulfilling achievement cards, and by matching specific pieces to icons on your tower. Each game takes about 20-30 minutes of time, so it’s perfect for parties and small reunions.
