The video game industry in Japan is huge and it could be considered now as part of their everyday culture. Over half of the most important video game companies come from that country and they’ve brought us some of the best games in history. Now, over 50,000 Japanese gamers voted on a poll for the best video games of all time, here are the results.

The poll was made by a television station called TV Asahi, and you could choose to vote for classic games as well as modern games. This factor highly influenced the end result, as we can see some surprises and that newer games star to occupy some of the highest places in the poll.
